Site Details
Worked-out gravel pits within a farmland setting. Gravel pits as part of nature reserve and fishing. A railway line cuts through the site. The River Loddon also forms part of the varied habitat.

Directions
The pits can be accessed from the A3032 1/4 mile west of Twyford town, taking the A4 from Maidenhead or the A321 from the Reading side. The south side of the site is approached from the B3030 from Wokingham, taking the first left after Whistley Green.Parking
