Site Details

A shallow subsidence pond in an industrial development area between Washington and Sunderland. Close to Washington WWT and maintained by Sunderland Countryside Team. The surrounding area consists mainly of neutral grasslands and plantation woodlands. Noted for consistent wader passage in spring and autumn, rather than rarities.
