Site Details

The Lake is on a private estate and there is no public access. The Lake may be viewed satisfactorily from a minor road along the northern side, which runs from Capheaton to the farm at Frolic. The Lake and area are important for the commoner breeding birds including Hawfinch, grebes and duck. Significant numbers of wildfowl are present in winter.
